Alright - here’s another way I can make the acetate shine brighter than with just black plastic behind it.

Last time I tried covering the electronics with tin foil, but someone kindly pointed out that wrapping it in metal could effectively create a farady cage and block the wireless connections for Bluetooth.

Someone else also suggested a paint alternative that wouldn’t be electrically conductive.

Then I realised I had this chrome marker lying about somewhere.

So I’m gonna paint the electronics with this and hopefully, when I put it back inside the frame, it’ll reflect the light back out and give the acetate a bit more brightness.

Look at that! It’s much better than housing the electronics in a metal box!
