Imagine if Fortnite did hearing aids. I bet they wouldn’t hide them.

Alright hear me out.

Like, imagine if they were merch that you can buy for your character in the game. But you could also buy them in real life as well.

Fortnite already did a glasses collab with a brand called Unofficial. If they’ve already done eyesight, why not hearing as well?

I wish I had these when I was at school. I didn’t wear my hearing aids because I just didn’t want to be that kid with hearing aids, even though it meant I struggled to hear what people were saying, and ended up in so many embarrassing situations.

I still avoided wearing them at all costs, but if these existed when I was 13, I’d be begging my mum for a pair.

Fortnite is more than just a game, it’s a platform that curates culture for hundreds of millions of people with live concerts from Marshmello to Eminiem, brand collabs with Nike, Moncler, Balenciaga, online and off, and skins from the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Ariane Grande and so many more! Who knows, maybe Overtone will be the next collab!

Everyone who games knows the importance of good audio to hear your surroundings and how important communication is between your teammates, especially in Battle Royale games like Fortnite. That’s the narrative around hearing that can be brought out of the game and into the real world. Connection with your real world surroundings and communication with the people who mean the most to you. What could be more important?
